Peggy Wiltz receives Founder's Day award

This year, the Zonta Club of Everett is proud to announce its 2023 recipient of the Founders Day Award for Distinguished Service is Peggy Wiltz.

Peggy describes herself as a person who likes to work in the background. She is a programmer/software developer for Premera Blue Cross, and as so, she has become indispensable as the club’s ‘go-to’ person for presentations and all things computer related. In her eight years as a member of Zonta, Peggy has worked on the Program and Fund Development committees, and as chairperson of the Service committee.
Zonta’s mission inspires me,” she says, “I have three daughters and I hope they will want to be around people who are kind and passionate like the women in this club.” As one of the advocates who worked to assure Zonta’s beautiful ‘We Rise’ statue was placed in the Everett Arboretum, Peggy will continue to be invaluable to Zonta in her own quiet way.
