At our November program meeting, Genna Kilduff from Connect Casino shared information about their community programs. Connect Casino is especially focused on food availability for their area right now, with the closing of the main major grocery store nearby. Possible suspension of SNAP and WIC benefits are factors as well. Members generously donated reuseable grocery bags, especially insulated (for perishable items) at the meeting, to help their neighbors transport food further distances.
