The work that Deb does, and the position she holds as COO with Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County benefits so many women, and their families in our community. Deb is second in command at DVS, (where she has been since 2011) and solely responsible for all the fund development. Her diligent work has increased their budget by 25% in the last four years, allowing them the ability to increase the services and quantity of women they support. Some of these vital programs include: Shelter, Housing, Hotline calls, Legal Advocacy, Law enforcement and Educator training.
Deb was elected Citizen of the Year in Mukilteo 2016 (both of her parents were previously awardees as well). She is also a long-time Mukilteo Kiwanis member.
Clearly Debra Bordsen’s impact has made our little part of the world, a much better and safer place for women and girls
