The Zonta Club of Everett held their annual gala “A Litle Bit of Magic” in person for the first time since 2020 in April and it was a great success. The club gathered 60 friends to raise funds for scholarships, grantmaking and contributions to the Zonta Foundation for Women.
Attendees heard from Heather Freeman of Leadership Snohomish County, a local nonprofit organization supporting leaders in Snohomish County and promoting racial equity. They also heard from Rubye Hayden a former Women in Transition Scholarship recipient who shared her incredible story of returning to college after taking a break her entire adulthood to raise her family. In June she will be receiving her degree, just before her 70th birthday! Thanks to all our sponsors, donors and attendees we raised over $28,500!!!
